Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 14 August 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the Dukes Home Interiors website and to purchases made through our online store.

Dukes Home Interiors is a trading name of Greenacre Ventures Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17356425.

Registered Office: 82A James Carter Road, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, IP28 7DE
Email: shop@dukeshomeinteriors.com

Throughout these Terms, “Dukes Home Interiors”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Greenacre Ventures Ltd.

By placing an order through our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Our Products

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, dimensions, specifications, prices and availability shown on our website are accurate.

Colours and finishes may vary slightly from photographs due to differences in screens, lighting, natural materials and manufacturing processes.

Many of our products are supplied and dispatched directly from our distribution partners. This does not affect your contract with us or your statutory consumer rights. Your contract of sale is with Greenacre Ventures Ltd trading as Dukes Home Interiors.

2. Prices

All prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling (£).

Greenacre Ventures Ltd is not currently VAT registered.

We may change prices at any time, but changes will not affect an order that we have already accepted.

If an obvious pricing or product-information error occurs, we may contact you before accepting or fulfilling the order and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel the order for a full refund.

3. Placing an Order

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your basket.

Receiving an automated order acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that we have accepted your order.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order before dispatch where there is a legitimate reason, including:

  • The product is unavailable.
  • There has been an obvious pricing or product-information error.
  • Payment has not been authorised.
  • We are unable to deliver to the supplied address.
  • We reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity.

If we cancel an order after taking payment, we will refund the amount paid.

4. Payment

We currently accept:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express

Payment must be successfully authorised before an order can be processed.

5. Delivery

Our usual delivery timeframe is approximately 3–5 working days, unless a different timeframe is stated on the product page or during checkout.

Delivery estimates are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates unless we expressly agree otherwise.

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and complete delivery address and ensuring that reasonable access is available for delivery, particularly for larger furniture items.

Further information about delivery charges, areas served and delivery arrangements is available in our Delivery Policy.

6. Cancelling an Order

If you are purchasing as a consumer online, you will normally have the right to cancel your order without giving a reason.

For most products, you may notify us that you wish to cancel within 14 days from the day after you receive the goods.

After notifying us of your cancellation, you must return the goods within the applicable statutory return period.

Certain products may be excluded from the statutory right to cancel where permitted by law, including goods made to your specification or clearly personalised.

Please see our Returns & Refund Policy for full information about cancellations and returns.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

7. Change-of-Mind Returns

Where you exercise your right to cancel because you have changed your mind, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods unless we have agreed otherwise.

Some furniture and oversized products cannot reasonably be returned using ordinary postal services and may require a specialist collection service. Any applicable return or collection costs will be explained in accordance with our Returns & Refund Policy.

We do not charge customers a general restocking fee for exercising their statutory cancellation rights.

You may inspect products as you reasonably would in a shop. However, where handling beyond what is reasonably necessary causes a reduction in the value of the goods, we may make an appropriate deduction from the refund where permitted by law.

8. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods

All products must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for their intended purpose.

If an item arrives damaged, faulty, incomplete or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible.

We ask customers wherever possible to report visible delivery damage or discrepancies within 24 hours of delivery and provide photographs of:

  • The damaged or affected item.
  • The packaging.
  • Any relevant labels or identifying information.

Please retain the original packaging while the matter is being investigated.

The 24-hour reporting request helps us resolve delivery and supplier claims quickly. It does not remove or restrict your statutory consumer rights.

Where goods are faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, we will deal with the matter in accordance with your legal rights and our Returns & Refund Policy.

9. Refunds

Where a refund is due, it will normally be made to the original payment method.

For eligible change-of-mind cancellations, we will refund the amount required by applicable consumer law, including the appropriate standard outbound delivery charge where required.

Additional amounts paid for an upgraded or premium delivery service may not be refundable beyond the cost of our standard delivery option.

Full refund information is contained in our Returns & Refund Policy.

10. Product Availability

Stock information is updated regularly from our suppliers, but exceptionally an item may become unavailable before our systems have updated.

If an ordered product becomes unavailable, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and either:

  • Offer an appropriate alternative where available; or
  • Cancel the affected item and issue a refund.

You are not required to accept an alternative product.

11. Website Information

We take reasonable care to keep information on our website accurate and current.

Occasional typographical, technical or administrative errors may occur. We may correct such errors when identified.

Nothing in this section limits our legal obligations concerning the accuracy of information provided to customers or the goods supplied.

12. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the content of this website, including its design, text, graphics, branding and other original material, is owned by or licensed to Dukes Home Interiors.

You may use the website for your own personal and non-commercial purposes.

You must not reproduce, distribute, sell or commercially exploit website content without our prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

13. Acceptable Use

You must not knowingly use this website:

  • For unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
  • To introduce viruses, malware or other harmful code.
  • To attempt unauthorised access to the website, server or associated systems.
  • In a way that interferes with the operation or security of the website.
  • To infringe the rights of another person or organisation.

14. Third-Party Services and Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or use services provided by third parties, including payment and delivery providers.

We are not responsible for the content or operation of independent third-party websites.

This does not affect our responsibilities to you in relation to products purchased directly from Dukes Home Interiors.

15. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory rights relating to goods.

We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.

We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was entered into.

If you are purchasing products as a consumer, we supply them for domestic and private use. We are not responsible for business losses arising from consumer purchases.

16. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Our use of cookies and similar technologies is explained in our Cookie Policy.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The Terms that apply to an order will be those in effect when the relevant order is placed, unless a change is required by law.

18. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms removes any mandatory legal protections available to you based on where you live.
